I am currently looking to purchase a CheyTac M200 rifle and I live in Canada, are they legal ?
I am a Canadian Spec Ops Sniper and I could probably find this information easy enough elseware but I thought I would give this a try first. If I cant find an answer that someone is sure of, then I will just contact the NFA or Firearms Canada. Please dont leave posts on why you don't think this rifle is practical for civilians to own. I would like to get this rifle not only for my occupation and to better my accuracy, but to also use it for long distance hunting. Most people think that the challenge is takin away from the hunt with such an advanced piece of equipment. But for me its not about the challenge of the hunt, its about the challenge of long distance accuracy and the excitement of being able to end the animals life at distances exceeding 2 Km !!
who the heII cares if its legal or not, if u can get one for a good price GET IT.... u sure are a pansy for being a so called "spec ops sniper" (dam canadians...)

Whitetail Hunting $17.48 North America's #1 big-game animal is the whitetail. Most hunters, however, are not successful in their quest for a big buck. Some of them set up their treestands in the wrong places, others simply move too fast and make too much noise when still-hunting or tracking. Whitetail Hunting is written to help put the odds in the hunter's favor every time he or she steps into the deer woods. In the section Understanding Whitetails, readers learn what habitats deer prefer, how they react to weather changes, where they feed, how they use their senses, and how they communicate with each other.Preparing for the Hunt explains what equipment and clothing hunters should buy regardless of whether they hunt with firearm or bow & arrow. Chapters in this section also discuss tips for scouting and locating whitetail hotspots before opening day. The latest information on Chronic Wasting Disease and other deer-specific ailments are discussed.Hunting Techniques shows readers how the experts stand-hunt, still-hunt, stalk or drive deer in different situations and habitats. Readers also learn when to rattle, how to place deer attractor scents, and where to find trophy bucks. Trailing wounded deer and field-dressing tips are also provided.Regional Differences explores the unique hunting strategies needed for specific terrains and weather conditions in the various major geographic regions of the US and Canada. |
